Direct Care

Access Medical and Health Clinic operates under a direct care model, a modern approach to medicine that upholds traditional values.

Direct care clinics differ from traditional clinics in that patients have a direct relationship and direct communication with their medical provider. They also have direct participation in their healthcare plan and outcome.

Direct Care Model vs. Traditional Care Model

Background

Sarah Christensen, owner of Access Medical and Health Clinic, is a nurse practitioner, board-certified in family medicine through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has dedicated 30 years to healthcare, starting as a certified critical care RN providing specialized services to patients with acute illness or suffering from life-threatening injuries. She has extensive training and experience in delivering high-quality patient care and education to patients of all ages.

Experience

Over the years, Sarah grew increasingly disillusioned with the expensive and inefficient healthcare system she worked within. She witnessed patients struggling to afford care, facing long waits for appointments, and receiving rushed, impersonal consultations from overwhelmed medical providers. Sarah’s frustration peaked as she saw firsthand how these systemic issues led to poorer health outcomes and diminished trust in the medical profession.

We offer a compelling alternative to traditional healthcare models, ensuring we meet patients’ needs in a safe and supportive environment. Your health and well-being are our top priorities.
